The Danny Burt Yurt Village
is within a shaded area on the Broad River side of Lake Thurmond (known locally as Clarks Hill Lake). Our five yurts each consist of a circular canvas tent 20' in diameter and 12' high, featuring lattice wall support, insulation, clear dome skylight, electricity, outside water, heating and air conditioning, ceiling fan and lockable doors. The yurts have front and rear decks along with picnic tables, grills, fire rings, and swings.
Each yurt accommodates up to six guests. Linens and blankets are not provided. A full-service comfort station is available in the yurt area with restrooms and showers. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED inside the yurts. Pets are NOT ALLOWED in the Yurt Village.

There are no restrooms or running water inside yurts. A Comfort Station is available in Yurt Area with restrooms and showers.
Reservations
- Reservations are accepted 11 months in advance and require a two-night minimum stay. A one-night deposit is required when making any reservation.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date.
- No refunds are issued for NO SHOWS, early departures, or cancellations after the arrival date.
- Reservations on holiday and special event weekends will require payment for the ORIGINAL ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE DATES.
- Reservation Refunds for Credit Cards will have a $5 service charge deducted from the refund amount. Refunds are applied to the user’s credit card with no service charge.

There is space available for a camper (30 ft. MAXIMUM LENGTH) adjacent to the cabin for an extra charge of $25 per night. (Only available with cabin rental)
Policies
- A maximum of two dogs allowed, regardless of size.
- Dogs may not be left unattended at any time, either in the cabin, your vehicle, or the park.
- Dogs must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times when not inside cabin.
- Dogs may not be tied up to trees or fences, or anchored to the ground.
- Guests are required to clean up after their pets.
The cabin is available for rental with a two-night minimum for $100.00 per night.
